DAMNIT
Well this was a blog on college kids. unfortunately one of my roommates broke a door in the laundry room. he racked up over 600 dollars in damage. now, because of his idiotic choice we are all getting kicked out of the apartment. we have to pay for everything and only have 3 days to get out. now i have to move back to 29. no more college.

"heaven help us, us college kids..."
okay i just wrote a really long blog and accidentally closed it...so here's a simple version:
my college life:
1. midterms coming soon- luckily i don't technically really have any. drama classes are easy minus scenes and stuff and g.e.'s are pretty simple and fun.
2. theatre life is busy. cask of amantillado has rehearsals fridays and i'm having fun, but finding it difficult to get into this crazy scary character. the mainstage show i'm in starts rehearsals next week! yay!
3. I really really really miss Niel-y. The guys here act like you're invisible unless you're a pretty blonde or a drunken frat girl. Really? an intelligent girl who's crazy but cool (not to toot my own horn) goes unnoticed? it doesn't really make sense. and why does EVERY guy come to college with a girlfriend back home? dumb. Plus, who cares about these guys, i miss my hubby. I can't wait for thanksgiving, niel.
4. dining hall food isn't that bad, and they almost always have ice cream!
5. 4 year colleges are really cool. the only bad thing about it, niel's not here. :(
6. Niel is not on ichat anymore. I think he hates me.
Anyways, homework's done. Time for bed soon. Goodnight, readers- aka niel. :)

A Little Bit of Insight
So i was reviewing previous blogs and noticed how we have never really talked about our college lives, like we claimed we would.
So here it goes, a little insight on my life as a first year college student.
1. Roommates, as necessary as they are for me, piss me off. I hate how inconsiderate they can be. Im so lucky to have a room to myself, my own little sanctuary where I can escape their constant annoying habits. I hate when I come home at night and I have to enter a loud, smelly, dirty, and dark house. Its very very annoying.
2. I hate not being listened to. As narcissistic as I might sound here, I am by far the most intelligent person in my apartment. When I try to help my friends and they dont listen, I get very annoyed. Its not like Im trying to be their dad or anything, but when I have a friend who wastes hundreds of dollars a month at the casino, and refuses to stop going, it bothers me.
3. I miss high school. In high school (again not trying to sound like an arrogant person here) I was pretty cool. Im not saying I miss popularity, but I do miss knowing everyone and knowing everything that was going on. I really just miss my other friends I guess. I had a lot of fun going to school everyday and just hanging out.
4. I really do miss Shelby a lot. She was one of the few people that I could have an intelligent conversation with. She is a very smart person and thats what i miss, real conversation.
5. Dont go to a junior college. If you enjoy high school and you enjoy that student atmosphere, than do not go to a JC. JC's are great in a financial way. They are cheap and still give you a good education. But they lack in college atmosphere. The classes are filled with older people and it can be hard to meet people your age. Four year universities are loaded with kids your age that arent juggling college, multiple jobs, kids, mortgage bills, car payments, and outstanding credit card debt (well most of them anyway). The students at these places of learning are there to learn. They arent just enrolled in school to pick up their weekly grant check. Go to a four year school. Thats the best advice I can give.

"Don't go wasting your emotion, lay all your love on me..."
To the future father of my children,
I'm glad you know the correct use of "you're" and "your". Now, I don't think I'm marrying an idiot. :) Also, I may not dance anymore (According to you) but at least I could dance in the first place! You better start taking some lessons because we're doing a huge dance number at our wedding.
That is all.

The Future Mother of My Children
Freaking awesome. One of many reasons we will be wed. Oh not because of the "dance", God no, but because Shelby doesnt "dance" like that anymore. Just kidding Shelbster, you know I love you. You're (not to be confused with 'your') awesome and you know it.
P.S. world. Typed Rich and Dana episodes coming soon!

"Friday night and the lights are low..."
Apparently all of my song lyrics are going to be from ABBA....I'm okay with it.
Anyways, tonight I realized what a great guy Niel is. When I'm down, he'll raise me up, when I'm sad, he'll share some sunshine....When I think Niel Christensen I think "lean on me when you're not strong...." as well I should.
So thanks, Niel. for being you.
And thanks Niel's mom for bringing up a fine young man.
And thanks to myself for getting through a whole blog without noting that Niel still needs to learn when you use "you're"! DANGIT! I didn't?......ugh........how do i delete this thing?
The Rebuttal
1. It is true that I make many spelling and grammar errors.
2. It is also true though that I rock.
3. My failure to do the English language justice is really irrelevant.
4. I am going to be an English teacher though................ So...........Hmmm
5. Anyway, follow us in hope that you will see a picture of us (cause we are those people that you just want to look at forever).
More reasons to follow:
1. watch and note on Niel's numerous grammatical and spelling errors....learn the difference between "your" and "you're"!
2. watch young love bloom.
3.....cookie dough does sound good, but the Sopranos?!?!?? really?
4. no one good is on ichat. except us. be our friends there too!
5. see 1...the others not as important.
6. DANA AND RICH....
